Is Embarrassment Bad? (HOS137)

We take on a controversial subject today by request. Stace and I are aware of occasionally using real life situations as examples that may trigger embarrassment in people, even though we don’t mention them by name. So what’s the deal with that? Is that mature, ethical? How do we make that work metaphysically? Do we succeed, or is it a complex justification for being mean? You decide, of course?

This episode drops 6 days early to podcast members to reward their support. To become a member for just 5 bucks a month, you can go to content.clearandopen.com. In addition to early releases, you get access to chat and commenting features, and exclusive access to the famed and fabled Second Sunday each month where we get together in real-time and talk about whatever is up. We’ve got 14 members now! The next second Sunday is August 10, 2025.

Thanks for listening, or if you’re on youtube or substack, for watching.
