This is really poignant to consider. Our relationship to reality as a living thing, ever dynamic, with change as the constant. Truly alive if we can humble ourselves to the rigor. This is getting back to some basics too in a way that sorts the foundations- truly very helpful.

And just a little etymology here. If memory serves me correctly, reality and royalty are connected. Royalty make up their own reality to the degree they have power over their domains of authority. But it’s not a “do whatever you want without consequences“ kind of power. It’s something much more powerful than that. It is the power to accept what is given us in birthright - self authority that wants to be truly surrendered back to life itself and reality/royalty itself.

That’s creation man! 🏄‍♂️

I love the phrase “humble ourselves to the rigor.” I looked up the etymology and the roots are different but it’s a cool idea. Royalty comes from Rex meaning king. Reality comes from res meaning thing. Downstream of that in some languages like Spanish “real” can mean either. Leadership and self authoring when done well surely connect to reality, as rare as that is.
