Doing the work is, surprisingly, only half of the work. The second – and often more challenging – part is to take a closer look at what comes out. Previously, we had looked at some uncomfortable parts of our pasts: acknowledging our weaknesses, examining the flaws of our parents, and looking at the relationships between them. We’re going to take some time to reflect on the lessons we’ve learned, as well as why it can be so hard to adjust the perceptions of our parents in our minds.
