The biggest roadblock to becoming stronger is our refusal to get deeply intimate with our weaknesses. As an extension of that, far too many of us are unwilling to acknowledge the faults in our parents. There is nothing more important than looking at your parents weaknesses, because it’s easier to see than your own. And the more we learn about our parents, the more we learn about ourselves.
